what is it?
Throughout our time in operation we have been receiving some very heartfelt
and positive feedback towards some of the stories that we have released,
but we have felt often that it was a pity that the real makers of the
works have not been able to hear them.
Thus, we have one very last translating task that we would like to
undertake before we completely move on, but this time, instead of translating
the mangaka's words in Japanese into English for you, we are going to
translate your words in English into Japanese for the authors themselves.
That is, we would like to send messages from the fans gathered in the
English reading world of the authors of work that we have translated.
how?
We are going to collect, through email, a selection of responses from
our readers. Cirrus has volunteered to translate the text into Japanese.
We will be compiling them together, typing them into Japanese text,
and creating a semi-scrapbook of things to send to each author.
Since we have a limited amount of time in which to do this, we would
like to ask that you limit your responses to 300 words each. Out of
everyone's responses we will select a number of those to be translated
and printed and sent with the entire package over to the office in Japan.
Please keep in mind as you think about your response that Shi-Ran is
not officially affiliated with any of these authors; our work is strictly
amateur and not for profit. Perhaps the package won't even get to the
mangaka, but we will do all that we can possibly do to make sure it
happens.
who?
These are the authors for which we have contact information. While
you may certainly write a response for every author that you wish, please
limit your response to one author per response.
